Bag rules at concerts
Each organiser sets its own rules – and they are strictly enforced. At many shows in the Olympiapark: backpacks, suitcases and larger bags are banned, only bags up to A4 size are allowed. At the Allianz Arena, too, only bags up to A4 are allowed for football matches; for concerts the organiser may set its own rules.
Check your organiser’s security information before the concert. Anything that is not allowed is best not brought along at all – leave it with us.

Main venues and how to get there
- Olympiahalle, Olympic Stadium & SAP Garden (Olympiapark): from Central Station take the U2 to Scheidplatz and change to the U3 to Olympiazentrum – about 20 minutes.
- Allianz Arena: S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then U6 to Fröttmaning and about 15 minutes on foot.
- Theresienwiese (e.g. Tollwood Winter Festival): U4 or U5, one stop from Central Station.
K-pop, rap & big tours
Munich is a regular stop on major world tours. Drake brought his European tour to the Olympiahalle in September 2025, BTS played two stadium shows at the Allianz Arena on 11 and 12 July 2026. For shows like these, many fans travel from all over Europe – often with a suitcase, straight from the train or airport.
Our tip: leave your luggage at Central Station, explore the city before the show and collect it in the morning. From 2 days you automatically get 10% off.
Festivals in Munich
Besides indoor concerts, Munich has festivals all year round: the Tollwood Winter Festival on the Theresienwiese from 24 November to 23 December 2026 (plus New Year’s Eve party), Oktoberfest in autumn and many open-air concerts in the Olympiapark in summer.

Can I take a backpack to a concert?
That is up to the organiser. At many shows in the Olympiapark backpacks are banned and only bags up to A4 are allowed. Check the security information for your concert.
How do I get from Central Station to the Olympiahalle?
Take the U2 to Scheidplatz and change to the U3 to Olympiazentrum – about 20 minutes.
The concert ends after 11 PM – what then?
Simply book pick-up for the next morning. We open daily at 7:30 AM.
How much does storage cost?
Backpack or bag €6.90, suitcase €7.90, XL/XXL €9.90 per day, plus a one-off €1.50 service fee per booking. 10% off from 2 days.
Can I just drop by on concert day?
Yes, as long as we are open. With an online booking drop-off is faster though.
Are there surcharges on concert days?
No. The same fair daily prices apply every day.
