Taking a suitcase to the fair? Better not.
Trade fair days are long: stands, meetings, talks, evening events. With a trolley in tow every walk through the halls becomes a chore, and in meetings it is simply in the way.
There are cloakrooms on the fairgrounds. On departure day it is often easier not to take the suitcase there at all: drop it with us at Central Station in the morning, take the U2 to the fair and collect it in the evening on your way to the train.
Getting to Messe München
From Central Station: take the U2 towards Messestadt Ost without changing to Messestadt West or Messestadt Ost – depending on which entrance you use. The ride takes about 25 minutes.
From the airport: take the S-Bahn to Central Station, leave your luggage with us and continue on the U2 – so you are suitcase-free from the very first minute.
Tips for visitors and exhibitors
- Hotel check-out in the morning? Drop your suitcase with us on the way to the fair – we open at 7:30 AM.
- Multi-day fair? Store your luggage for several days – 10% off from 2 days, 15% from 7 days.
- Bulky items: sample cases, roll-ups or large luggage are accepted as XL/XXL items.
- Keep your laptop and documents with you: valuables and documents do not belong in stored luggage.

The cloakrooms on the fairgrounds are handy for coats and small bags during fair hours. For your suitcase on departure day, Central Station is often the better place.
