Luggage storage for football fans in Munich
Arriving on match day, kick-off in the evening, heading home at night – with a whole day of Munich in between. Only bags up to A4 size are allowed in the Allianz Arena. Leave your suitcase and backpack with us at Central Station and travel light to Fröttmaning.

Bag rule at the Allianz Arena
According to FC Bayern, bags and backpacks are only allowed up to A4 size; anything larger is not permitted in the stadium. Bags are checked at the entrance.
For larger items there is luggage storage on the esplanade and at the north coach park. Nothing can be handed in at the stadium entrance itself.

Why your suitcase is still better off with us
Storage at the arena helps if you're already standing in Fröttmaning with your bag. But if you arrive in Munich by train, you would first have to drag your suitcase across town, through packed U-Bahn trains and over the esplanade – and pick it up again in the crowd after the final whistle.
With us you drop your luggage five minutes from Central Station, keep your hands free for the city all day, travel light to the match and collect everything on your way back to the train.
Getting to the Allianz Arena
From Central Station: take the S-Bahn (main line) to Marienplatz and change to the U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum to Fröttmaning. Alternatively take the U4 or U5 to Odeonsplatz and change to the U6. Allow around 30 to 40 minutes to the station.
From Fröttmaning it is about a 15-minute walk across the esplanade to the arena. Trains are very full after the final whistle – allow extra time on the way back.
Evening match and a late train?
We're open daily until 10:00 PM. With an 8:30 PM kick-off, picking up the same night gets tight – simply book pick-up for the next morning. Often the more relaxed option.
For afternoon or 6:30 PM kick-offs you will usually have plenty of time to collect your luggage in the evening.

- Bring only the essentials: ticket, phone, ID, money – everything else stays with us.

Can I take a backpack into the Allianz Arena?
Only if it is no larger than A4. Larger backpacks and bags are not allowed into the stadium.
Is there luggage storage at the Allianz Arena?
Yes, on the esplanade and at the north coach park – right at the stadium and around the match. If you arrive by train, it is easier to leave your suitcase with us at Central Station.
How do I get from Central Station to the arena?
S-Bahn to Marienplatz, then U6 towards Garching-Forschungszentrum to Fröttmaning, then about 15 minutes on foot. Alternatively U4/U5 to Odeonsplatz and change to the U6.
The match ends late – can I still collect my luggage?
We're open until 10:00 PM, or until 11:30 PM with a late pick-up (one-off €25). For evening matches it is best to book pick-up for the next day.
How much does it cost?
Backpack or bag €6.90, suitcase €7.90, XL/XXL €9.90 per day, plus a one-off €1.50 service fee per booking. No match day surcharges.

Yes. You can add several items of different sizes to one booking – everything runs under one reference.
